Gianluigi Donnarumma was happy after his save against Napoli and claimed ‘I do not think about the market, I just want to do everything for this shirt’.

Milan got a point against second-placed Napoli at Stadio San Siro on Sunday afternoon, and they have Donnarumma to thank for this draw, as his pulled a miraculous save on Arkadiusz Milik in the 92′ minute to keep things level.

Donnarumma, at 19 years and 49 days, became today the youngest player in history to reach 100 Serie A appearances. He signed a new contract with the club last summer after a long saga, but his agent Mino Raiola continues to publicly say that he wants his client to leave Milan. But Gigio only cares about the pitch and about making all game-changing saves.

“Today’s save was definitely my best of the season,” he told MilanTV at the end of the match. “It was important to make that intervention. It’s normal to have ups and downs but I always give my all in training and with my trainer at Milanello. “Zapata and Musacchio? Cristian and Mateo are two great players, with Bonucci and Romagnoli out they replaced them well, but the whole team works hard.

“Today it wasn’t easy to face Napoli with the Scudetto in play. If it’s a point earned, or two points lost? We could have won the match but let’s not forget the team we were facing. Thinking about their last chance, we should appreciate this point. The offensive difficulties [Milan are 10th in scoring goals]? We have great strikers and I can’t say anything more, the goal will come and make the difference.

“Torino [who Milan face on Wednesday]? It will be very difficult, we need to win to achieve our goals.”

Speaking to Mediaset, Donna, who may have helped Juve win the Scudetto with his save, said: “I made a nice save, and then I rejoiced for it. I didn’t even think about who I was playing against. We always train to the maximum, I always give everything, and I go to work as I’ve always done.

“Gattuso’s words? I thank him, we are working well, and the team gives me great tranquility. We hope to achieve our objectives. The future? It’s nice to make great saves… I know nothing about the market, my agent and the club will think about it. I go ahead to work and give my best for this team. Reina? I congratulated him, he is a great goalkeeper. He gave a lot to football and will still do a lot.

“Comparisons to Dida’s save? I remember his save against Ajax in the Champions League. His save was more difficult. I hope to do it in the future too in the semi-finals of the CL with Milan.”

Gigio also had an interview with Sky: “The performance? There are other games to play, we have a goal to reach that is Europe, we keep the save and work more than before. It was one of the most beautiful saves I’ve had. My future? The next few months will be quiet, I don’t think about the market, I just want to do everything for this shirt, and I don’t think of anything else.

“Reina? We are friends. We haven’t talked about the mercato or the future, we congratulated each other. The songs against Neapolitans? I’m really sorry, I never said half a word that is out of place on Naples. I have always praised Naples. I’m sorry because I love this city and I don’t know why the fans do songs of this genre. I like Napoli because it’s the team of my city. I don’t know what to say.”

  1. The future? It’s nice to make great saves… I know nothing about the market, my agent and the club will think about it.
Go away and take ur bitch ass brother with you.

  2. I think Gigio will still remain with us till next season onwards. It’s that bloody agent of his that’s f***ing up everything for us and spreading false news everywhere. Gigio is gonna stay with us!

  3. “My agent will speak with the club”. Really?. We are pleased with the length of your current contract and I guess you are also pleased with your salary.. well which 19y old wont be with a 6m! So everyone is happy but you still sending in your agent? To discuss what?? A clause saying you can leave if we dont make CL? Had you let in fewer goals we might have been in a better position to qualify. Tell your agent we say we don’t wanna see him!!!

    • Well let me remind you that clause don’t exist at first place…..it was suppose to be inserted but some how Mirabelli managed it otherwise…..he is a class player for his age lot to learn tooo but if he wants to leave than fair enough get us the money he can leave….I guess he is too confused sort of a guy his head isn’t there at times….he loves milan on one hand but is stuck with his agent and ambitions….(I might be wrong here though)….to be honest every players dream of playing in champions league and winning it so his ambitions are fair enough….instead of creating another drama it’s better management and doona agree mutually where they both want to go and spare us fans from being mad at him….

      • Well said if there isn’t a clause in his contract and if he realy wants to leave then let him leave , sure donnaruma is the best young keeper and has the potential to become the best goalkeeper in the world but if his heart is not with us the he should be allowed to leave for a world record transfer sum for a goalkeeper atleast 75m

  4. Don’t like the fact that he mentioned that his agent will talk with the club. If you are willing to say then say it. Nobody has to talk if you have another four years with this team. That sounds like somebody who is wanting to leave. And I for one am not going through the same crap as last summer so this year it’s simple. You stay and give ur all for this team or you go and part ways

  5. Rather sell Donna for 70M…. buy us a decent GK… Sell Monto Also that will free up a lot of Salary Space…

  6. He’s played some very nice long passes out wide to the fullbacks after Napoli closes every other chanels and finishing it off with that save making me don’t want to lose him even thou I think Milan is too big to accept all the uncertainty he’s creating. Fire this agent and stay with us you idiot.
