Manuel Locatelli has attracted interest from Torino, but it’s very difficult to see him leave this January.

The January transfer market has opened and with it come the rumours, and according to Milannews.it, Sinisa Mihajlovic’s Torino have written the name of Manuel Locatelli on their list of targets.

However, MN insists that the position of the club is that Locatelli is completely not for sale, and they have no reason or intent of giving him away in this window, as he is considered important for the technical project of the club.

The 19-year-old midfielder has been involved in 18 matches in the first half of the season – 10 times in Serie A, 7 times in the Europa League (including preliminary) and once in the Coppa Italia.

  1. Yes he is untouchable, even if we consider selling him it will not be the hard ass Torino who almost made a mockery of us because they have Belotti who was red hot in the summer. We will not deal with them.

  2. Again… loan Locatelli/sell Musacchio…. to buy another average player from Torino/Genoa/Fiorentina

wtf they are doing? they don’t understand anything.

    Armando Izzo? Baselli?

what about Lucas Torreira? they have not seen him yet? jeeez

  3. But, it’s not fair on the kid. You are not playing him at all and you will not allow him go on loan or sell him. We should have gotten just one of Kessie or biglia not the two at once. That has further limited his playing time because we have mauri, montolivo also for same role.

  4. just read some horrible news that Milan are willing to swap loca for Baselli + Cash. That sounds stupid to me. Baselli should be possible to get easy without loca. He is 15-20 Mill player. Loca if he gets enough tutoring he will be worth 3 times that in 3 years time. The club makes the same mistakes over and over again.

I said this before the transfer window. “We should bring in a powerful center back.” Sell bonucci if needed, hack put him in Defesive midfielder role as a half back. in a 433. On attack we have 3 attackers + fullbacks. In defense it will form as a back 3 when attacking him acting as a sweeper, and drop back to the more 451 when controlling. Then he can play with the ball the way he likes and we could utilize his strengths. But in a back 4, We need a powerfull stopper. No doubt. Its why we lose deadball situations etc. We have nobody at the back that are force to be rackon with.(a real man). Just a bunch of ball playing messis. wont work.

    • Looooool
Ball playing messis. That is pure gold of a phrase mate xD
Gomez can easily be the bully in our defense but we bought Bonucci…. seriously, anyone can do a better job of making sporting decisions than our Milan management.

But yeah, selling Loca will be another huge mistake in a long series of mistakes the management keeps making. I hope Loca will block any move himself. But then again, we cannot blame him if he wants to move because we prefer to play Biglia and Kessie and Monto over him. Mistakes and mistakes.

      • Ink on July 15, 2017: “I am overjoyed by the (Bonucci) transfer. But I will be very dissatisfied if he gets captaincy.”

Now you’re criticizing the management for that transfer? You do what you do at a specific time given the information / money at hand. After that, only time will tell.

Try to live in reality instead of jumping around in time making judgements. It was a great transfer at the time. Period.

      • Yep, for sure. We spend heavily this summer, but there is still much to be done.. Atleast we are being linked with midfielders. Thats a start. Just hope we dont sell the wrong players. Like our own home grown players.

But I think first it all starts at the back. I think Romagnoli, Bonucci and Muccashio are quite the same type, All of them would be a perfect partner for someone like Chiellini. Gomez could be a excellent backup for someone like that, But I fear he wont help us that much in deadball situations. Romagnoli is good at intercepting with his head when defending attacks, but he too lack something when it comes to deadball situations. scary how easy we concede on set piece’s and how we cannot defend a lead. We always starts to back paddle and practicly invites the opponent to attack. Then eventually concede. Cuz no defenses can survive constant pressure.

  5. tell Cairo, 50m + Belotti for Locatelli, he’s our symbol along with Cutrone, he’s better than Cristante & Veratti in same age,
