Boca Juniors are insisting on Gustavo Gomez, but at the moment Milan can’t agree to the offered terms.
Gustavo Gomez is not in the plans of Milan and it’s clear from the fact that he’s only played 10 minutes for the Rossoneri this season (in the 5-1 home win against Austria Wien in the Europa League).
The Paraguayan center back is strongly wanted by Argentine giants Boca Juniors, but the Primera División are struggling to find an agreement with Milan.
According to Milannews.it, Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli already rejected Boca’s first offer to take Gomez, 24, on loan as they deemed it too low. Boca coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto is keen to have Gomez and talks are still alive, but for Milan to agree, they will have to raise the bid.
As for the player, MN claims that he is ready to return to Argentina, where he’d previously won the league with Lanús and he is willing to ‘drastically’ lower his salary to facilitate a move.
