One of the agents who brought Pasalic to Milan believes that the player is ‘da Serie A’ and says he can play Montolivo’s role.
The 21-year-old joined Milan on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea and with Juraj Kucka and Andrea Bertolacci both unavailable against Udinese, it’s possible that he will already make his debut after the international break.
Pasalic was a regular on loan at Monaco and despite not playing since February due to herniated disc, he collected 29 appearances with the France side and now that his back problems are completely healed, he will look to get a place in Montella’s XI as soon as possible.
“Mario’s first days at Milan? He’s very happy but at the same time he’s staying calm. Croatians always have this typical reaction; he doesn’t show very much emotion but he’s certainly happy about his decision,” agent Vincenzo Cavaliere, who worked with the agent Federico Pastorello to bring the former Hajduk Split and Elche player to the Rossoneri, told Milannews.it on Tuesday.

“At Monaco he did well as an attacking midfielder. He has more than 70 games on his record and goals in major leagues in Europe. He did pick up a bit of experience, as youngsters get more playing time abroad. He was used a lot in Spain and France and he has a lot of experience despite his age.
“The back problems? He had a bulge between the vertebrae but it wasn’t too serious and he’s fine now, training at intense rhythms. It wasn’t serious enough to undergo surgery. He lost some time just in finding the right method of healing but now he’s fine and he is at 100%.
“Milan have a right of first refusal? He likes Milan a lot, there are many Milan fans in Croatia and he grew up with their wins in the Champions League. In terms of football he’s player ‘da Serie A’ for his physicality and for technique, he’s also prepared tactically. He’s a great professional.
“It can be the year of consecration for Pasalic. Last year he lots a bit of time due to the injury but he’d already picked up experience in significant football by then and everyone was talking about him. Hopefully this will be a good year for him and for Milan.”
Milan face Bournemouth on the 3rd of September and Pasalic wasn’t called-up for international duty so the fans might be able to take a first look at the Chelsea owned-player.
With that been said, I hope hw is better enough to put Monty on the bench for some time…

I Taya oooo he gotta be ripped off that armband he need to watch others play for sometimes. Let see what this Chelsea boy can give us even though I don’t like the idea of us getting player from that club
