MARIO BALOTELLI is not in risk of missing the Champions League qualifiers according to the press this morning.

Balotelli had Milan worried after he had to leave the Italian training camp with a knee problem but it seems that Milan coach Max Allegri and Adriano Galliani have nothing to be concerned with as the striker is unlikely to miss the PSV games.

Milan are already thin in attack with Giampaolo Pazzini injured and Robinho still not entirely fit (he’s trying to get to 100% in time for next Tuesday), so Balotelli, who Allegri declared as the most important player is the squad, is a key to qualify.

Balotelli had returned to Milanello already on Tuesday and this morning La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Balo will most likely follow a custom training program in order to avoid any possible injuries ahead of the PSV game at the sold-out Philips Stadion. Balotelli is not at the top of his physical shape (like all the other players) but is still expected to be a starter.

Balo, who had met Pope Francis before returning to Milano, watched his friends play against Argentina last night. Italy lost 2-1, Riccardo Montolivo played one half (rated 6.5 by Gazzetta) while Stephan El Shaarawy was an unused sub.

  2. This summer transfer window have been a nightmare. Juventus are looking to sign eriksen, atletico join the hunt for ljajic along side tottenham, we have to battle against liverpool for sakho and also liverpool want to sign honda for a whooping £ 12 mil. There goes my dream….

Im heart broken that you put atletico spurs and cash in the same ballpark as Milan, Honda wants Milan, Honda wants to play in the casa del diavolo, not anfield. Passion and desire beats money everyday of the week in football. Una cita due colori!!

  4. Good Bola is back. Let’s all pray for quick Saponara recovery.

We signed Simic, now this is confusing me. I tought Christian Maldini is being molded for that position (Future right back) as De Sciglio plays on the left. I watched some of Christian Maldini’s videos on youtube, He look very sharp even though he is not on Inzaghi starting 11 and i think thats a good thing for him being protected as we fans will put him under pressure. Inzaghi said the boy is the future but will have to go through the difficulty of being a Maldini. Please go see for your self the boy is very good.

  8. Great news. His personality is needed in important matches like vs PSV. All the injured other players except Bonera & Pazzini have also resumed full training. I am optimistic of victory against PSV.
