MATTIA DE SCIGLIO, Jherson Vergara, Riccardo Montolivo, Mario Balotelli and Stephan El Shaarawy have returned.

Milan continue their preparation ahead of the Champions League qualifiers and the Serie A and today they have welcomed five players that were playing with their national teams during the break and were therefore given an extended vacation.

Five players took part in the Confederation Cup with Italy, in which the Azzurri got knocked out in the semi-final, losing to Spain on penalties and another player was part of the Colombia U20 squad that played in the Under 20 World Cup.

Ignazio Abate, who dislocated his shoulder during the Confederation Cup, returned to Milanello already last week but today Massimiliano Allegri welcomes back Mario Balotelli (who also got injured in Brazil), Stephan El Shaarawy, Riccardo Montolivo and Mattia De Sciglio, as well as the new signing Jherson Vergara who’ll train with Milan for the first time today.

El Shaarawy’s tweet: “It starts, good morning to everyone” (El Shaarawy twitter account)

Meanwhile, Riccardo Saponara is unlikely to be fit for the Valencia game in three days while Luca Antonini has confirmed through his twitter account that the injury he picked up yesterday against Juventus is not serious and he’s training regularly.

  1. Great To Have Them Back At The Team… I Just Hope The Champions Are Back With Great Desire And Winning Mentality…!!! Forza Milan Till The Black Becomes Red And The Red Becomes Black.

  2. Welcome back, ragazzi! Now the pre-season has officially started with our internationals back, that’s nice.
I wonder how our team will look like for the start of the season, with new acquisitions and less dead weight in our squad.

    • We are not signing any of them so just stop spamming please. Not to mention that Wallace would not be a starter at Milan and I don’t think Piazon would be either.
