KEVIN-PRINCE BOATENG will undergo a surgery in his hand while Montolivo may face a month out.
Boateng played full 90 minutes yesterday but picked-up an injury yesterday during the 1-3 victory against Bologna away, in which he was one of the best players, finally resembling the Boateng of last seasons.
The Prince was lively, creating good runs, passes and shots, but he fractured the metacarpal in his right hand. Boateng will undergo a surgery tomorrow (Monday) but isn’t expected to miss any games for Milan.
Highlights: Bologna 1-3 Milan

Serie A resumes for Milan only on September 16 as this is now the first international break of the season. Boateng, a retired Ghana international at 25, will be back in contention already for the Atalanta match. A guy who’s likely to miss this game is Riccardo Montolivo who picked up a muscular injury against Bologna.
Initial reports are suggesting that Montolivo will face a spell of 3-4 weeks out but there will be more tests in the next days. Robinho and maybe even Alexandre Pato should be fit to face Atalanta in two weeks.

OMG WHATS HAPPENING US..
September 2nd, 2012 on 4:15 pm
Are we going to be bombarded with injuries again this season???!! This is ridiculous really…Monto out for around a month and Boateng with his hand……gosh I hope we don’t experience Deja Vu…Allegri should put Emanuelson or Constant in his place
September 2nd, 2012 on 4:23 pm
well the report says he shouldn’t miss any game,so it’s all good. And we could also get robi n pato back too.

Nice that Prince won’t miss any games, but I’m bummed about Montolivo…I really wanted to see him play in a more advanced position with Ambrosini back from injury and the signing of De Jong… I hope he’ll come back as soon as possible, I don’t want us to have all these injuries like last season…
Hope to have them all back real soon, but instead of Riccardo, if he won’t make the Atalanta trip, let’s hope Emanuelson starts as he’s very creative, but in a different way.
Keep the faith!

September 2nd, 2012 on 9:11 pm
There must be something weird with our training.
September 2nd, 2012 on 9:20 pm
Blame should be on our medical staffs, not training system. Pls take point my pals.
September 2nd, 2012 on 9:51 pm
seriously aquilani is better than montolivio yet i wish him, d duck, robin hood n d prince d swiftest of recoveries.
The physio dat almost ruined our pato shld not have been fired alone but d whole physio crew shld have followed him out d door. If one is faulty n d others dont c his faults, den i believe dey r worse.
FORZA MILAN
