CESARE PRANDELLI has decided to take a young squad, with 5 players of Milan featuring in the squad.

Prandelli has released his squad for Wednesday friendly against England on Friday and it includes many young players, including five men of the Rossoneri – some of them being called-up for the first time.

The Italy boss was unable to call-up players from Juventus and Napoli because of the Supercoppa Italiana, so he went with a young squad and he’s ready to give players – some are teenagers – their debut.

Ambrosini: “Milan two levels below the great clubs”
Galliani: “Allegri made a mistake, I’m pissed!”

Prandelli has decided to take five players from Milan. Ignazio Abate (25) has become a regular for Italy and featured in the 2012 Euro in Poland and Ukraine. A more surprising call-up is that of Mattia De Sciglio (19) who has been impressive for Milan lately. Still in defense, Milan’s Francesco Acerbi (23) got a call-up too.

The former Fiorentina coach has left Riccardo Montolivo and Antonio Cassano out, but Antonio Nocerino (27) will be part of the squad to face The Three Lions. Stephan El Shaarawy (19) will be hoping to make his debut for the national team as well and he’s also part of the squad. Paris Saint-Germain’s Marco Verratti, Pescara’s Mattia Perin and Manchester City’s Super Mario Balotelli are also part of the squad.
