THIAGO SILVA says he believes in this Milan and his Rossoneri teammates advised him to stay.
Thiago was inches away from joining Paris Saint-Germain a few weeks ago as the French side had offered a figure believed to be around €46m for the services of Silva – a figure unheard of for a defender.
Silvio Berlusconi had decided to reject the offer from Leonardo’s Psg, and Thiago recently signed a contract extension which ties him to Milan until 2017 with improved wages as he’ll now earn €6m yearly.

Galliani: “Milan are numerically complete”
“The PSG case? Everything that the media reported is true,” Thiago is quoted as saying on Saturday’s edition of the newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport. “I have never thought of leaving Milan, but in football it’s normal that other clubs make offers. If I spoke with Leonardo? Yes, Leo told me about PSG’s project.
“Carlo Ancelotti also called me and told me that their objective is to become one of the biggest clubs in Europe. I’ve learned a lot from Ancelotti, Leonardo and now Massimiliano Allegri. Adriano Galliani also called me, and I thank for the great faith that he has in me. I have a very close relationship with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Antonio Cassano, Robinho, Alexandre Pato and Mario Yepes. They advised me to stay here.
“I believe a lot in Milan’s strength for the upcoming season. We have only had a few changes in the squad. We’re still a tight group that works well together. It’s a privilege to be compared to Paolo Maldini and France Baresi – two symbols. Maldini was a point of reference for me, even though he didn’t know that. I followed him from the stands. When I arrived at Milan, Maldini told me that I would fail if I didn’t learn Italian.

Thiago Silva’s interview on today’s La Gazzetta dello Sport
“Maldini told me that with the qualities that I have, I would become one of the best players at Milan, if I also learned Italian. I’ve always said that I want to stay at Milan. Even my family wants to stay as they feel well and happy in the city of Milano.” Thiago Silva is currently considered one of the best CB’s in the game.
“The teams to beat next season are obviously Juventus, and then Inter – our eternal rivals. And Lazio, Udinese and Roma always create problems for us. The Italian league is one of the best in the world. I’m sure about that. Andrea Pirlo? I can’t say much about that case. Of course, it’s unpleasant that he left and won the Scudetto. And now we also have to endure the teasing from the Juventini. In any case, we won the Scudetto without Pirlo. Mark Van Bommel was a starter that season,” said the former Fluminense man.
Thiago, who will be the captain of Brazil’s Olympics squad this summer, added: “I want to end the season in a beautiful manner by winning the Olympics, and then immediately begin the new season with Milan.”

Nicely said, Glad u now realise the importance of continuity in a great team like AC-Milan, we ain’t playing.Maldini said it all, learn italian and also learn from his tapes cus he was one of the greatest Centre/left back of all time.Milan is also a great city to live, remember the fans at the Piazza Duomo and Stadio Giuseppe Meazza always Cheering the Rossoneris. Milan transfer campaign has been the worst I’ve ever seen as a Milan fan. Keeping Thiago Silva is “NOT” a new signing as he should have never been put up for sale!
I hope that Galliani is lying as he normally does when he says that the transfer campaign is over, because if it is true, then we can expect another dismal season.
Milan must get at least 3 more quality players. 1 quality CB-Dede, and 2 quality midfield players Sahin and Sandro!
We need these players to compete again in Serie A and the UCL! Acerbi is unknown and maybe another Bonera for all we know!
Our squad is not deep enough and we dont have enough quality players who can make the difference!

We can wait till jan for Déde and as for the midfield one would do for now but if two were arrive I would say Ganso and Sahin.sell Robinho. and in jan we can get a DM and a striker
