ADRIANO GALLIANI has denied interest in Julio Cesar as he ruled out again further summer signings.
The transfer market opened days ago and while Inter and Juventus continue to strengthen with top notch players like Handanovic and Isla respectively, Milan have already closed their summer transfers campaign.
The Rossoneri have signed five players – all deals were sealed before the start of the transfer window – and it cost them less than €5mil . According to Adriano Galliani, Milan don’t need any more players now.
Pato, T. Silva included in Brazil’s Olympics squad
“This will be El Shaarawy’s season”
“The market is closed for Milan because numerically, our squad is complete. If a player leaves us, then another player will replace him. That’s the absolute truth,” the Milan Vice President and Chief Executive told Sky Sport 24. No, I haven’t received any offers for Robinho. We already have five great strikers.
“Julio Cesar is a great keeper whom I rate highly, but we have 3 goalkeepers already: Abbiati, Amelia and Gabriel. Our squad is complete.” Julio Cesar could become a free agent man this summer as Inter apparently intend to release him after securing Samir Handanovic from Udinese. He was linked with Milan.
The IFAB gave the green light to goal-line technology on Thursday. Milan suffered from a goal, non-goal, accident in the passing season against Juventus when Sulley Muntari’s legitimate goal was not counted.
“The arrival of technology in football is a normal evolution,” Galliani told the reporters. “There have been many projects along the way but finally this decision has arrived which will eliminate the goal/non-goal problem. The photo of Muntari’s goal on my phone? I still have it. At my age, I’m afraid to forget…

everyday i hear the same thing…
July 6th, 2012 on 12:21 pm
hahaha. juventus signed isla, asamoah, lucio, giovinco and perhaps a new striker. inter signed handanovic, guarin, palacio. milan signed montolivo, traore, constant, acerbi, gabriel. what the hell is that. that are all crappy players for milan. but we’ll see what will happen. FORZA MILAN
July 6th, 2012 on 12:28 pm
Except for Montolivo and maybe Acerbi I agree with you. But we’ll see what the others can do, Traore might surprise us, but Constant no, he was a complete waste signing.
July 6th, 2012 on 12:48 pm
you’re right, but if milan stays injuriy free a lineup like abbiati; abate, acerbi, silva, emanuelson/didac; nocerino, montolivo, traore;boateng; pato, ibra is better than juve’s first team, but the second row eecept cassano and el shaarawy (and robinho) is bad

I’m soo damn livid! Why is he repeating the same thing everyday!? And how is milans squad complete when the transfer window just started. This old man is ruining milan so what if he has made good deals under €5mill but are milan that broke? Doesn’t milan need top class players?? Even stoke city spend more money than milan! How is this possible???

Galliani is cleverly indicating that in terms of numbers we are complete, which is true, but he neglects speaking about quality because he knows that we are incomplete and he is suggesting that we are ready to sell but gives clubs the false feeling that we are open to sell but we don’t really have to (Thiago’s PSG negotiations or more appropriately, the Parisian play)where we really do have to sell, and he hints that particular players are negotiable without pointing clearly pointing them out in order not to unsettle the players (Robinho).
This is clever because our players will not not lose their market values, the players will not feel unsettled and will continue to give their best if they stay, the fans and press will not feel that the club is in any kind of crisis or that it has become a selling club.
NICE AND CLEVER.
A DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDER (L.Diarra, Strootman, etc..) WILL ARRIVE IN AUGUST (maybe by the end of July)
If Robinho is sold, I hope a trequartista is signed.
I’m not saying he’s bad, he’s just the most sellable player because:
His value is no less than 15m Euros
He’s inferior to Ibra, Pato and Cassano = he’ll be on the bench, he might not like it and cause problems = lower his transfer value.
His salary is 6m Euros per year (The 2nd highest, tied with Thiago AFTER Thiago signed his new contract).
El Shaarawy should get more chances so that he develops, and selling Robinho = more game time for SES.
At 28, he is most probably past his best already (this is highly debatable) and his price may not be the same in the couple next years.
I know we will be losing a player who did us well and is versatile but so is SES and Cassano + if we sign a trequartista who is younger, cheaper and more valuable to the team, it will be a huge coup for the present and future.

Galliani is not serious. Does he think this team will win anything? Our squard is full of mediocres including the coach.
July 6th, 2012 on 3:48 pm
We never hear anything about. Nocerino before. He came to milan, and on his debut season at milan he was the best player for milan…althrough. We still need a playmaker.
July 6th, 2012 on 4:46 pm
good player but milan no need you cesar, your time is finish,so i advised you go back to brazil hahahaha like dinho or ronnie had done..hahahahahaha
July 6th, 2012 on 6:36 pm
yea Nocerino was a good buy for sure but does not necesarily mean we should keep going for low players and try to make them stars… we failed in Taiwo Mesbah etc. Constant though got some skills but soon we’ll all start complaining about Traore and Muntari

Sell Robinho and promote young player from Milan’s academy. Not only Sciglio, add 2-3 young player to the first team.
July 7th, 2012 on 3:14 pm
Sell Robinho, Bonera, Antonini, Taiwo, Yepes and promote young player from Milan’s academy. Not only Sciglio, add 2-3 young player to the first team. Buy high quality player like Sahin that useless in Madrid. Buy new Italian defender like Ogbonna or Criscito. Galliani just No Action Talk Only.
