THIAGO SILVA is fired up ahead of Wednesday’s clash with Arsenal and says they can’t go wrong.
The most interesting game of this year’s Champions League eight finals stage takes place tomorrow when Milan host the Gunners at Stadio San Siro and the teams will soon finish all of the preparations.
Milan defender Thiago Silva is aware of Arsenal’s qualities, but says the big games are extra motivation as he’s keen to beat Arsenal in the two-legged clash and go through to the next stage of the Champions.
Allegri set for ‘massive’ Arsenal clash
Milan-Arsenal: The Rossoneri squad
“The 3 points won against Udinese were very important. We hadn’t played well in the first half, we made too many mistakes. In this game against Arsenal we have to make as few mistakes as possible. We play 180 minutes, if we get it wrong at home then we are out and so we have to stay really focused,” Thiago said.
“Arsenal are a great team and we have to watch everyone not just Van Persie. We have to watch all the players because they are all quality. When you play against the bigger teams it always lifts your game and this match will be a top level match. Hopefully we can play our game and do well in defence even when we have possession of the ball in attack. This is something we need to work on and we have been in training.
“Henry? He’s done so much, not just with Arsenal but also with France. He’s a great player and we’ll have to keep a close eye on him. If he gets space he will score. Van Persie? I don’t know if I’ll stop him, we’ll see.
“We need to enter the match with a focused frame of mind and the future will tell us what happens. Arsenal have a great squad of players, but so do we. It will be a great spectacle for the public, we hope to do well tomorrow also so that we can ease the pressure on ourselves for the second leg, but we know either Van Persie or Henry could decide the match in one moment,” added the 27-year-old Brazilian center back.
“I think we can do better than in past years, I really want to play and go to the quarterfinals, then we’ll see what happens. The important goal is not to concede, then we have many great players who can score.”

Allegri. well he will either win it or lose it. he deploys the tactics, so if plays the same bs line ups, than expect to be hammerd, than bye bye, sir, out n bring in som1 wit balls, who could actually stand up to the management and get quality players, play attacking football. n who gets rid of these oldies, its time, seriously, if we dont qualify against arsenal, than, thats a disgrace. disgrace.

I can only pray the Allegri gets the team right and not fieldd three defensive midfielders! We have nothing to defend in this match. We can’t afford to go to the Emirates NEEDING a positive result.

Taye taiwo-behind enemy lines
My five-point plan…
1 Don’t sit back! Attack Milan in the San Siro. They aren’t used to teams doing it and won’t know how to deal with it.
2 Theo Walcott should target Gianluca Zambrotta, he won’t be able to
deal with his pace.
3 Arsenal’s front three should target Alessandro Nesta with their pace. He does notlike tracking runners and is short of pace.
4 If Alberto Aquilani plays, Alex Song should get in his face. He needs time to pick out his potentially deadly passes.
5 Laurent Koscielny can’t let Zlatan Ibrahimovic bully him. If he imposes himself, then Arsenal could be in for a long night.
February 15th, 2012 on 11:31 am
Taye taiwo continues, speaking of zambrotta
“But if we had a game on Saturday, he would pop in on Thursday or Friday – and he would always play the match. That’s something I never understood.”
can this be true?

Those post were taken from taye taiwo interview with daily mail in London …
February 15th, 2012 on 11:52 am
This match is 50-50 i think…i just hope our coach gets his tactics and personnel spot on.
February 15th, 2012 on 11:54 am
Why are all my post goin to moderation ?this is getting annoying.
February 15th, 2012 on 1:08 pm
Forza milan, let us break the jinx today.
February 15th, 2012 on 3:38 pm
Italian teams record against English teams will end today.
February 15th, 2012 on 4:38 pm
Silva to silence Van Persie.
Nesta to silence Henry.
February 15th, 2012 on 4:43 pm
If Ibrahimovic scores today, he will equal Andriy Shevchenko’s CL record at home. Scoring in 4 consecutive home matches.
February 15th, 2012 on 4:52 pm
Taye Taiwo is a traitor and by God’s grace he would be put to shame. I’ve read it too on daily mail and i hope Milan management would do something about it, its painful a player would do that to his club.
February 15th, 2012 on 6:19 pm
I just hope van bommel and ambrosini don’t play together. If not, it will be very bad to say u want to defend against a fast team like arsenal. El shaarawy should be played from the start with pato and robinho as the trequartista. 2nd half should see ibra come in 4 d half fit pato.
