THE 22nd week of Serie A has passed; here are the results of all the games and the standings.
Only one game was called off due to weather conditions and it was the one between Cesena and Catania. The rest of the rest took place with only slight schedule changes as they were all played on Sunday.
Genoa recorded second win in a row when they took on Lazio at the Luigi Ferraris stadium in Genova, Rodrigo Palacio and Bosko Jankovic (brace) scored for Pasquale Marino’s side in the early noon fixture.

AC Milan-S.S.C. Napoli: Official line-ups

Roma o.O
February 5th, 2012 on 9:30 pm
Roma looked really good today
February 5th, 2012 on 9:40 pm
Inter… they were talking scudetto when they beat us… now they have two losses, and draw in last three games… they spoke too soon. Ranieri is so bad.
February 5th, 2012 on 9:49 pm
oops.. i forget to add. Roma is wildly inconsistent. They got beat by Cagliari 4-2 right?
I don’t get that team really. They are way too inconsistent.
February 5th, 2012 on 10:21 pm
new team new manager
they’r trying to find their own style
give ‘em time……i think they’ll come good
February 5th, 2012 on 9:42 pm
16 matches to go i know theres a lot installed. FORZA MILAN!
February 5th, 2012 on 9:56 pm
They say Robinho link up well with Ibra. look at is rating in goal.com
Typically frustrating performance from Robinho, who squandered an excellent chance to open the scoring when put straight through on goal early in the second half. Saw a well-struck shot saved by De Sanctis. overall, he was poor.
I hope he does not set his foot on the pitch against Arsenal else we are out.
What is the use of a striker thst links up well but cant score? He cant even hurt a fly. He is in the class of Jibril cisse.
February 5th, 2012 on 10:19 pm
does anybody know if ibra’s suspension includes the coppa italia game or not? as in, he’ll obviously miss the udi n cesena game, but which juve game will he miss, the coppa or serie a?
February 5th, 2012 on 10:34 pm
@Ryan …should b the serie A gm
February 5th, 2012 on 10:37 pm
…also for an aggressive off the ball foul like that he may miss mor than 2 gms. #ibrasmomemtofmadness #purestupidity
February 5th, 2012 on 10:46 pm
Only Serie A games. The Coppa is something separate. Ibra will at least play in the Coppa.
Milan will appeal any ban he gets.
February 5th, 2012 on 10:52 pm
Thats what i thought it was as well. But those guys in the video posted on this website said he’ll miss the coppa italia game vs Juve, the udi game, n the cesena game, which didnt really make sense to me. How could they be wrong?
February 6th, 2012 on 12:06 am
No. Because bans don’t carry over into other competitions. The ban Ibra is getting is only for Serie A games. The CL game is not something he’ll miss because that’s under the jurisdiction of UEFA. Not the Lega. And the Lega considers the Coppa game a separate matter.
Frankly anyone who says bans carry over don’t know anything about football and should quit any commentating job they have. The only time a ban carries is when a player transfers from one league to another. But that’s obvious not the case here.
February 5th, 2012 on 10:22 pm
Maxi Lopez and Shaarawy should pair up next match…..
February 5th, 2012 on 10:29 pm
Galliani has killed milan . Guess he wanted a champiom . Today was bad . But inter lost made me so hapi . Muntari >>> monty n sahin n granero in his mind
February 5th, 2012 on 10:47 pm
He didn’t kill Milan. Who could have seen all these injuries happening to key players?
February 5th, 2012 on 11:01 pm
really? so injuries have nothing to do with it?
Cass*ano Merkel Aquilani Boateng Nesta Flamini Gattuso…..
February 5th, 2012 on 10:32 pm
we know now if we’r Ibra dependent r not. MILAN TIL I DIE …WIN, LOSE R DRAW! forzaRAGAZZI forzaMILAN
February 5th, 2012 on 10:49 pm
We are still very much alive on the table. We can still pull out some stunts in our Upcoming fixtures.
Forza Milan!
February 5th, 2012 on 10:59 pm
Thats the fact, Nobody would expect all our key players getting Injured at the same time, We even brought Merkel, he played two matches and got Injured too. Thats pretty much of a bad luck.
February 5th, 2012 on 11:00 pm
Things will get better for us, pretty soon. I BELIEVE!
February 5th, 2012 on 11:00 pm
I just want this team at the top. I honestly don’t care how.but with what am seeing so far it doesn’t look good or encouraging but will still keep the faith…
February 6th, 2012 on 12:07 am
We just need to grind out wins by our teeth even if it means winning 1-0 and Mexes scoring a header or something like that.
February 6th, 2012 on 12:00 am
Now that Ibra will be absent, Am sure Allegri will talk to all his players, this is when they will have to take up on their responsibility and no relying on any player.
Massive turnaround for Milan is on the way. Keep Faith guys.
February 6th, 2012 on 12:01 am
Well its unto d next one . Wen is our nxt game pls .
February 6th, 2012 on 12:10 am
Can anyone confirm what I’m saying… bans don’t carry on into other competitions. Ibra won’t be banned for the CL or Coppa.
February 6th, 2012 on 12:16 am
bans do not carry over to other competitions.
February 6th, 2012 on 12:37 am
If Ibrahimovic misses two games and not more, he’d miss the ones against Udinese and Cesena – would return against Juventus.( all league games)
February 6th, 2012 on 12:38 am
That’s what you get when you are cheap. Mtscww. Forza milan
February 6th, 2012 on 12:45 am
I just dnt understand y he didnt buffer d mf dats all . We do seem to lack d final spark . So many injuries . It luks as if dey’ve been out for years . Hw come we played so well against lazio ( coppa ) n so abysmally in d league?
February 6th, 2012 on 1:21 am
This is becoming an issue with Ibrahimovic, and it’s something that needs to be looked into. Second season in a row he’s hurt the team in an important run of games. The only difference being last year we had Pato hit form about this time. Maybe it’s time SES steps into gear -Pete
February 6th, 2012 on 1:24 am
Am just not too sure of maxi, hope he can prove me wrong but i doubt he can…
February 6th, 2012 on 1:38 am
In fairness to Maxi Lopez he has not been given a much of a chance to show his worth. He will get the opportunity in the upcoming games.
Robinho is the player I think needs to leave this summer. This guy is so wasteful infront of goal its beyond ridiculous!
Tevez should take his place. El Sharaawy will replace Inzaghi…That way we can get Montolivo and hopefully Eriksen!
February 6th, 2012 on 4:17 am
Well, its over but the good news too is we played pretty awesome. Napoli had much of the ball in the first 20 minutes but Milan managed to get into the game after Napoli 20minutes of fluke ball possession.
One more thing,y’all failed to acknowledge Abate terrible display in the Napoli match up. I don’t know what has really gotten into him with all this awful performance lately.
February 6th, 2012 on 7:42 am
He wil only mis d serie a matches against udi. Cesena. And juve. Unlike d premier if u get red card in lets say carling cup. Then u’ll mis d 3 consecutives matches as long as it aint ucl match.
February 6th, 2012 on 8:32 am
Ibra will banned for Serie A only. It’s very much the same like Diaz that hit MVB on Coppa, and He’s still playing on Serie A.
February 6th, 2012 on 9:14 am
@Nick, I was thinking the same thing too, maybe its time to show Robinho the exit door, he has been so so so wasteful, and thats not what we need especially now.
We will see a fresh and young Milan in the summer when all our Senators retire or leave.
February 6th, 2012 on 2:51 pm
@Idowu…Yeah I hope Robinho leaves. I read on tribalfootball.com that Mario Balotelli might come to Milan in the summer. I hope that means Robinho will leave.
Abate has been really playing badly lately but so is everyone else. Nocerino, Abate, and Ibra look tired! They need a rest. Milan must start investing to build a deeper more competitive squad.
I’m really looking forward to see the end of Seedorf, Gatusso and Ambrosini! They have been at Milan toooo long!
February 6th, 2012 on 9:37 am
Napoli had only two shots . Both on target . Abate has been abysmal lately . Robi needs to step up . Too damn wasteful .
February 6th, 2012 on 10:46 am
Ibra’s red card could be a blessing in disguise
We can now test out Maxi Lopez or our other strikers and show people that we can do without him just like the 2nd half of last season
February 6th, 2012 on 11:32 am
Yeah, am kinda of confused on whats wrong with Abate. He hasn’t been himself.
February 6th, 2012 on 2:18 pm
Our team is still incomplete and this season was plain unlucky for us…..worse than last season even
I’m sure Gallaini and Silvio will make good signings for us in the summer! and we’ll be back in Europe like before!
February 6th, 2012 on 2:28 pm
allegri needs to go. He is killin milan, he is to defensive minded, no risks, no balls. Bring in rijkaard, mourinho, wenger n e day.
February 6th, 2012 on 4:09 pm
@nick
Actually we have great depth, but injuries really disturb us. I mean, KPB, flamini, gattuso, aquilani is all out. And it has great damage for us.
Yeah I agree abate is not in good form lately, yesterday he’s owned by maggio.
And yes I agree if a striker will leave milan, it’s robi. Strikers’s MAIN ROLE not to distribute and link our attack but to score goals, yet he’s been wasteful lately
February 6th, 2012 on 5:17 pm
maggio and abate were not even on the same flank…wat u talkin about bro???
it was zuniga
February 6th, 2012 on 5:03 pm
The Wenger you want, when has he won trophy last? Your accusation is Invalid.
February 6th, 2012 on 5:10 pm
@Nick Ibra, Abate and Nocerino are Obviously tired. Yes! Especially Nocerino.
According to a Milanista on twitter, Montolivo has agreed to sign for Milan in Summer after failing to sign a new contract with Fiorentina.
February 7th, 2012 on 12:02 am
That’s great news!
February 6th, 2012 on 5:22 pm
It will be difficult be I really hope Roma get into the champs league I think they’d make a better impression than pretty much any other Serie A team.
February 6th, 2012 on 5:24 pm
Ibra always gets tired and wound up this time of year, Allegri said at the start of the season he’d realised this and rotate him more but surprise surprise he said something to the press and did the opposite!
February 6th, 2012 on 6:00 pm
Massimiliano Allegri suggested post-match that things will improve on the injury front to relieve the burden in attack, he also hinted that the rest of the team lacked the ‘competitiveness and adrenalin’ needed to win the League.( what else can i say…)
February 6th, 2012 on 9:14 pm
Goal arena says Ibra will miss the coppa italia semi final encounter with Juventus on February 8while football-italia says it is league encounter with Juventus on February 26. Which one do we believe?
February 7th, 2012 on 12:01 am
It has to be the league…Goal.com is a clueless non credible source! Red cards and yellow cards in the league doesnt carry over to cup games!
