DAVID BECKHAM says he thinks about Milan everyday and is sure they can win the Scudetto.

Beckham spent two loan spells at Milan in 2009 and 2010, and L.A. Galaxy star, who was expected to leave them but rather signed an extension, reveals he still thinks about his time in Italy and the Rossoneri daily.

Milan won the Scudetto last season but this season it looks like an even more difficult task as il Diavolo fail to beat the top teams and injuries to key players certainly don’t help. Yet, Becks has faith in this team.

Ibrahimovic’s contract to be extended?

“I think of Milan every day, really. I enjoyed being at Milanello so much. I love the squad, the staff, everyone who works there. I love the Milanisti. I miss Milan and Italy so much,” said the former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder, who turns 37 in May and revealed he’d like to coach in Italy or play there again.

“I do not think that the defeat against Lazio has ended Milan’s chance of winning the championship, Milan can still win the Scudetto and I hope they do… If Juve were to win I would be happy for Pirlo but my heart is totally Rossoneri. When I found out that my son, Romeo, supports Arsenal, I became disappointed. I can’t bring myself to support Arsenal, although I do respect the club. I am convinced that Milan will go through.”

Milan take on Napoli at Stadio San Siro on Sunday afternoon (15:00 CET). The gap from league leaders Juventus is currently one point but the Old Lady have a game in hand. Milan have Arsenal on Feb 15.

  2. We need to start playing better against the better sides if we are to win the scudetto!! The way to do this is for Allegri to STOP! being Ibra dependent and stop the continuos long balls to him! And SES needs to carry on starting for us and we will beat all!!

  3. All the people that Milan hold dear in their hearts, the management is blocking their move to come back. Ex. Maldini. Why can’t they just treat Maldini like Madrid does to Zidane? Management just wants more power to themselves.
